A great place. The atmosphere is just what you would expect in lower East Side. Standing in line at Double Chicken please doesn’t make sense. The cocktails at The Oyster Bar are excellent, especially the Espresso Martini. A knock out. Don’t forget the oysters: they are delicious.

First thing you need to know is Caroline at Oysters is an absolute delight! I was on a first date here and she let us know that she unfortunately didn’t put our order in before oysters for happy hour were sold out. Once me and my date mourned our loss and resigned to a night without oysters, a few minutes later she let us know there were actually oysters available and put the order in for us ASAP. I’ll be honest, these are probably the best raw oysters I’ve had in the city (my date assured me that I could def have better in the city but for how desperate I was to have oysters, especially with their dope HH, this was the best for me in the moment) so I definitely understand why they were pretty much sold out once we got there highly recommend, especially if you’re a big fan of seafood like I am! The ambience itself is super electrical; low lighting, high spirits and emphatic conversations. The perfect way to laugh the night away and enjoy the company of others

Just spent the day moving my 22 yr old niece into her apt across the street, after a full day of walking/tour guiding I was beyond thrilled to pop in here . Tim the bartender I was privileged to hang with had an awesome vibe and was just wonderful! $1 HH oysters too! I found my new spot to stop in when I visit. 20/10 recommend .

It is also called the Grey Lady. My first raw oysters experience, and during happy hour, they are only $1 each! I was scared I would gag! The raw oysters are not gross but not that special to me. I also drank 2 $6 drafts of Big Wave Golden Ale from Hawaii. For someone who does not care for the taste alcohol, that was a smooth, fruity ale with no bitterness. I ordered the fish tacos, but would not order them again as they were meh.

You just can’t beat $1 oysters for happy hour!! The presentation is great (3 sauce options & lemon on ice) and the oysters were wonderful. Decent size, fresh and delicious! The Bloody Mary was yummy too. A very casual, comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent!! Will be back.
